 Shipping Information

Please allow extra time when choosing your shipping method. USPS and UPS may experience delays due to employee shortages, postal holidays, weather, or other issues beyond my control. These delays may cause your package to arrive later than expected.

Please remember:

  • USPS only guarantees Express Shipping
  • UPS only guarantees Next Day Air Shipping
  • All other delivery time frames are estimates only

Specific delivery dates are not guaranteed unless the shipping method specifically states it is guaranteed. If you need your order by a certain date, please review the posted processing times and choose the correct shipping method at checkout.

Refunds are not given for orders that are not received by a specific date due to postal or carrier delays.

Location

Sweet Custom Creations is located in Appleton, WI.

Shipping is available anywhere in the United States. Unfortunately, I do not offer local pickup or international shipping at this time.

Order Processing

Most orders are processed and shipped within 1–2 business days, depending on the time the order is received and the current order volume.

Processing time may take up to 6 business days if:

  • You request a proof
  • The current workload is heavy
  • Additional communication is needed before printing

Orders are shipped Monday–Friday only, excluding postal holidays. Orders are not shipped on Saturdays or Sundays.

Once your order ships, a shipping confirmation email with tracking information will be sent to the email address provided on your order form.

Proof Processing

If you request a proof before your order is printed and shipped, the proof will be emailed to the email address listed on your order form within 24–96 hours / 1–4 business days Monday–Friday, excluding postal holidays.

Processing and shipping may be delayed until the proof is approved. However, if no response is received within 2 days, your order may be printed and shipped within the normal 2–6 business day processing time to avoid further delays.

Please make sure you enter a valid email address and check your email frequently, including your spam/junk folder.

Changes After Ordering

If you need to make changes to your order after placing it, please do not place a second order. Email me first, and I can help make the needed changes.

If you place a duplicate order and then request to cancel the original order, a 25% cancellation fee will apply. Please contact me before placing another order if you need any changes made.

USPS Shipping

USPS Ground Advantage:  4–6 business days, estimated — $0.00

USPS Priority Mail:  2–3 business days, estimated — $16.49

USPS Express Mail:  1–3 business days, guaranteed — $48.49 Excludes Alaska and Hawaii.

Effective 11/6/23, USPS no longer guarantees Express shipping to Alaska and Hawaii. Please see the USPS website for more information.

UPS Shipping

UPS Ground:  1–5 business days, estimated — $15.79

UPS 3 Day Select:  1–3 business days, estimated — $17.79

UPS 2nd Day Air:  1–2 business days, estimated — $26.79

UPS Next Day Air Saver:  Guaranteed by the end of the next business day — $53.79

UPS Next Day Air:  Guaranteed by 1:30 PM the next business day — $59.79

Important Shipping Notes

If the shipping method selected is not available for your area, I will choose the closest available shipping method based on the amount paid. If the shipping method you selected costs significantly more than the shipping paid, I will choose the closest option available within that amount.

Please message me before your order is processed if you have questions about shipping options.

Shipping delivery times are estimates unless specifically stated as guaranteed. USPS and UPS do not count Saturdays, Sundays, postal holidays, or the day your order ships as business days.

Shipping estimates do not include processing time. Processing time is 1–6 business days Monday–Friday.

Due to the varied pickup times from USPS and UPS, same-day shipping is not guaranteed, even if you choose Next Day or Overnight shipping. Please keep this in mind when placing time-sensitive orders.

All USPS and UPS shipping methods include up to $100 insurance. If you would like to purchase additional insurance, please contact me before ordering.

Please choose the correct shipping method at checkout. Due to the volume of orders I receive, I do not email customers to let them know if they selected the wrong shipping method or need to upgrade. This helps avoid delays in processing all orders.

Sometimes there are unexpected postal delays, especially around holidays. Please plan accordingly when choosing your shipping method. USPS suspends all guarantees between December 22–25.

I understand shipping can be expensive, and I do not want you to pay more than necessary. However, please do not choose a cheaper shipping method and expect guaranteed delivery by a certain date. If your event is important, please choose the shipping method that gives you the best chance of receiving your order on time.

Please plan for the unexpected.

Shipping Address

Please make sure the shipping address entered on your order form is correct and valid with USPS/UPS.

If the address is incorrect and USPS returns the package, a replacement or refund will not be provided due to the nature of the item.

If the address is incorrect and you select a UPS shipping method, UPS will not allow me to print a shipping label for your order. If this happens, I will choose the closest USPS available option based on the amount paid.

Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order. While I try to verify addresses, this process can delay order processing.

UPS only delivers to valid street addresses. UPS does not deliver to PO Boxes or military addresses. If shipping to a PO Box or military address, please choose a USPS shipping method.

Packaging

Edible images are shipped in sturdy cardboard envelopes with DO NOT BEND stickers on both sides to help protect your order during shipping.

Your edible image is sealed in a plastic ziplock bag. A detailed instruction sheet with tips for applying your topper is also included.

Multiple Separate Orders

Due to fraudulent chargebacks, multiple separate orders will no longer be shipped together.

Each order placed separately will ship separately and will receive its own tracking number. This protects both you as the customer and Sweet Custom Creations.

Cancellations

Once your order has entered the processing stage, it cannot be canceled. This includes orders with proofs, since proofs are part of the processing stage.

If you cancel before the order enters processing, a 25% cancellation fee will apply to cover fees incurred.

Please make sure you are committed to ordering before placing your order. This policy is non-negotiable.

Return Policy

All sales are final.

Due to the nature of edible images, I do not accept returns or provide refunds. If there is an error on my part, I will send a replacement.

Refunds are not given for orders that arrive late due to USPS or UPS delays. Please choose the appropriate shipping method at checkout.

Remember, shipping estimates do not include processing time.

Reversed Charges / Chargebacks

By placing an order, you agree that if you dispute a charge with your bank or credit card company, you are responsible for any chargeback fees incurred, along with the original charge being disputed.

Banks and credit card companies may charge for fraudulent chargeback disputes. Please make sure you read the product description and all policies carefully before purchasing.

Delayed or Late Orders

Once your package has been scanned and is in the possession of USPS or UPS, I no longer have control over carrier delays, delivery operations, or delivery efficiency.

I can only provide the tracking number for your order. For more information or to file a claim, you will need to contact USPS or UPS directly.

Damaged Orders

Images are packaged carefully, and damages are very rare. However, damage can occasionally happen during shipping.

If your edible image is damaged during shipment, please email a photo of the damaged edible image to:

You may receive a replacement edible image or store credit minus shipping cost.

No replacements or refunds will be given for damage caused while applying the edible image. Please read the included instructions carefully and contact me with any questions before applying.

If your product is damaged during shipment, you will also need to contact USPS or UPS and file a damage claim.

Lost or Stolen Orders

If your order is lost or stolen, please file a claim directly with USPS or UPS.

Refunds will not be given for lost, stolen, or returned orders. Please make sure your shipping address is correct before placing your order.

Returned to Sender

Orders returned to me due to no fault of my own will not be reshipped.

Returned packages are sent to a digital mailbox and are shredded there, so I do not physically receive the item back.

If an order is returned due to an error on my part, I will reship a new order.

Refunds will not be given for returned orders, so please double-check that your shipping address is correct on the order form.

Digital File Orders

If you order a digital file, it will be emailed to the email address on your order form within 24–48 hours / 1–2 business days Monday–Friday, excluding holidays.

If your digital file requires personalization, it will be typed manually by me. A sample proof will be emailed to you within 24–48 hours / 1–2 business days Monday–Friday, excluding holidays. Once approved, the final digital file will be sent.

A digital file is emailed to you and printed by you. If you plan to have it printed at a photo lab or bakery, please check with them before ordering to make sure they are able and willing to print it. Some locations have specific printing policies.

Refunds are not given if your photo lab or bakery refuses to print the file. Please check with them before purchasing. 

Refunds are not given after the final digital file has been emailed to you. Please make sure you are ordering the correct option.

Color Disclaimer

Edible images are printed with edible inks, which are made from food coloring. Because of this, colors may not print exactly the same as they appear on your screen.

This is normal with all edible printing systems.

Black food coloring is made using multiple colors. As a result, areas with gray shading may sometimes have a slight blue, green, or purple tint. This is more noticeable in black-and-white photos. Printers are calibrated to avoid or minimize this issue whenever possible, and it rarely happens.

Colors such as blue, green, red, yellow, orange, pink, and purple usually print well, but exact color matches cannot be guaranteed.

Edible inks do not print the same as regular printer ink. Colors may vary, but they will still look beautiful. Colors may also brighten once the image absorbs into the frosting or icing.

Due to the nature of edible inks and icing sheets, exact color matches cannot and will not be guaranteed. Colors may also appear different due to screen settings, lighting, and monitor differences.

Personal photos may not print exactly as expected depending on the photo quality, lighting, shadows, and darkness of the image. Unfortunately, there is usually no way to know exactly how a photo will print on a frosting sheet ahead of time.

If you are placing a large order, I recommend ordering one sample in advance so you can see the printed result before ordering a larger quantity.

Please also be aware that very light details in designs may not show up exactly as they appear on screen when printed in small sizes, such as 1.25" or 1.5" round images, due to the small print size.
