SHIPPING INFORMATION

Shipping, Processing & Policies

Please allow a couple of extra days when choosing your shipping method. USPS and UPS may experience delays due to employee shortages, postal holidays, weather, or other unexpected issues. These delays are beyond my control.

Specific delivery dates are not guaranteed unless the shipping method states it is guaranteed. USPS only guarantees Express Shipping, and UPS only guarantees Next Day Air Shipping. Shipping estimates do not include processing time.

If you need your order by a certain date, please carefully read the posted processing times and choose the appropriate shipping method at checkout. Refunds are not given for orders that do not arrive by a specific date.

Location

Sweet Custom Creations is located in Appleton, Wisconsin. Shipping is available anywhere in the United States. At this time, local pickup and international shipping are not available.

Order Processing

Most orders are processed and shipped within 1–2 business days, depending on the time the order is received and the current order volume. Processing may take up to 6 business days if a proof is requested or if the current workload is busy.

Orders ship Monday through Friday only, excluding postal holidays. Orders do not ship on Saturdays or Sundays.

A shipping confirmation with tracking information will be emailed once your order has shipped.

Proof Processing

If you request a proof before your order is printed and shipped, it will be emailed to the email address provided on your order form within 24–96 hours / 1–4 business days, Monday through Friday, excluding postal holidays.

Your order may be delayed until the proof is approved. If no response is received within 2 days, your order may be printed and shipped within 2–6 business days to avoid further delays.

Please make sure you enter a valid email address and check your email frequently. Proof emails may go to your spam or junk folder. To help prevent this, please add the following email to your contacts:

Changes After Ordering

If you need to make changes after placing your order, please do not place another order. Email me first, and I can make the changes for you.

If you place a duplicate order and then request to cancel the original order, a 25% cancellation fee will apply.

USPS

USPS Ground Advantage:  4–6 business days, estimated — $0.00

USPS Priority:  2–3 business days, estimated — $16.49

USPS Express:  1–3 business days, guaranteed, excludes Alaska and Hawaii — $48.49

Please note: Effective 11/6/23, USPS no longer guarantees Express Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii. Please visit the USPS website for more information.

UPS

UPS Ground:  1–5 business days, estimated — $15.79

UPS 3 Day Select:  1–3 business days, estimated — $17.79

UPS 2nd Day Air:  1–2 business days, estimated — $26.79

UPS Next Day Air Saver:  Guaranteed by the end of the next business day — $53.79

UPS Next Day Air:  Guaranteed by 1:30 PM the next business day — $59.79

If the shipping method selected is not available for your area, I will choose the closest available option based on the amount paid. If you have questions about shipping options, please message me before your order is processed.

Important Shipping Notes

Shipping time frames are estimates only unless stated as guaranteed. USPS and UPS do not count Saturdays, Sundays, postal holidays, or the day your order ships as business days.

Processing time is separate from shipping time. Processing may take 1–6 business days, Monday through Friday, excluding postal holidays.

Due to varied daily pickup times, same-day shipping is not guaranteed, even if you select Next Day or Overnight shipping.

All USPS and UPS shipping methods include up to $100 in insurance. If you would like to purchase additional insurance, please contact me before your order ships.

Please select the correct shipping method at checkout. Due to the volume of orders received, I do not email customers to recommend shipping upgrades. Every order is important, and I work to process them as quickly as possible.

Postal delays can happen, especially around holidays. Please plan ahead and choose the shipping method you need. If your event date is important, please do not choose a slower shipping method and expect guaranteed delivery. Plan for the unexpected.

Shipping Address

Please make sure the shipping address entered on your order form is correct and valid with USPS/UPS.

If the address is incorrect and USPS returns the package, a replacement or refund will not be provided due to the nature of the item.

If the address is incorrect and you select a UPS shipping method, UPS will not allow me to print a shipping label for your order. If this happens, I will choose the closest USPS available option based on the amount paid.

Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order. While I try to verify addresses, this process can delay order processing.

UPS only delivers to valid street addresses. UPS does not deliver to PO Boxes or military addresses. If shipping to a PO Box or military address, please choose a USPS shipping method.

Packaging

Edible images are shipped in sturdy cardboard envelopes with DO NOT BEND stickers on both sides to help protect your topper during shipment.

Your edible image is sealed in a plastic zip-lock bag, and detailed application instructions and tips are included with your order.

Multiple Separate Orders

Due to fraudulent chargebacks, multiple separate orders will no longer be shipped together. Each order placed will ship separately and will receive its own tracking number. This protects both the customer and Sweet Custom Creations.

Cancellations

Once your order has entered the processing stage, it cannot be canceled. This includes orders with proofs, as proofs are part of the processing stage.

If an order is canceled before processing begins, a 25% cancellation fee will apply to cover costs incurred. Please make sure you are committed to ordering before placing your order. This policy is non-negotiable.

Return Policy

All sales are final. Due to the nature of edible images, returns and refunds are not accepted.

If there is an error on my part, I will send a replacement.

Refunds are not given for orders that arrive late due to USPS or UPS delays. Please choose the appropriate shipping method at checkout. Shipping estimates do not include processing time.

Reversed Charges

By placing an order, you agree that if you dispute a charge with your credit card company, you are responsible for any chargeback costs incurred, as well as the original charge being disputed.

Delayed or Late Packages

Once your package has been scanned and is in the possession of USPS or UPS, I no longer have control over delivery times or postal operations.

I can only provide the tracking number for your order. For delivery updates, delays, or claims, you will need to contact USPS or UPS directly.

Damaged Orders

Edible images are packaged carefully, and damage during shipment is rare. However, if your edible image is damaged during shipping, please email a photo of the damaged edible image to:

You may receive a replacement edible image or store credit minus the shipping cost.

No replacements or refunds will be given for damage caused while applying the edible image. Please read the included instructions carefully before applying and ask any questions before use.

If your item is damaged during shipment, you will also need to contact USPS or UPS and file a damage claim.

Lost or Stolen Packages

If your order is lost or stolen, please file a claim directly with USPS or UPS.

Refunds are not given for lost, stolen, or returned orders. Please make sure your shipping address is correct before placing your order.

Returned to Sender

Orders returned to me due to no fault of my own will not be reshipped. Returned items are sent to a digital mailbox and are shredded, so I do not physically receive them back.

If an order is returned due to an error on my part, I will ship a replacement order.

Refunds are not given for returned orders, so please double-check your shipping address before submitting your order.
